Up for sale is My 1954 HUDSON HORNET 7X Convertible. The reason I purchased the car was because of its condition, its rarity, and history. This is NOT a common car. I have sold this car a few times but unfortunately due to lack of seriousness from buying parties I have been unsuccessful at selling. The car is GORGEOUS. It has been restored fully, maintaining the original parts and originality to the fullest.This car comes with miscellaneous documentation and service records as well as literature which I posses. It has a clean clear title. It has been tuned and the engine verified! I am a motivated seller.
BODY: The body on this Hudson is EXCELLENT. There is NO RUST no wavy panels NO plaster/plastic/bondo. The metal is straight and true. There are a few dings on the stainless steel moldings along the side of the car, nothing major. There are no major scratches except under the drivers door (rocker panel) and one by the passenger lower quarter. There are no other issues. The car was repainted during restoration in 1998 and is NAVY BLUE (not black) its the same OEM color but much darker. The top color is also a bit darker and has a glass rear window now. the chrome is PERFECT there are no issues with any of the emblems or badges all parts are original and restored.
UNDERCARRIAGE: There IS NO RUST!!!!! floors and quarters and all parts of the car are rust free. There are no leaks or issues, no broken or missing pieces. The under carriage also has been painted and undercoated (previous owner). All of the lines, hoses, and components clean and rust free. The condition is Exactly what to expect from a car with that has been kept original and restored. The frame is solid and clean, the engine and transmission are nicely painted.
ENGINE: The engine is 7X!!!!!!! It has aluminum heads and has all of the reinforced internals (verified). The engine has a casting number of CASTING #304-539 CWC-4. The engine has good compression on all cylinders and is tuned. The carburetors are tuned as well (both). The car has Air conditioning (not original) which was added and works very well! It has a custom bracket made to attach the compressor and the Condenser and all of the hoses and interior parts installed professionaly including the under dash set up. The engine has all new components and was REBUILT when the car was in 1998, 4K miles ago. It starts right up every time and it runs beautifully.
TRANSMISSION: The transmission has new oils. Shifts perfectly and smoothly, I have adjusted the shift points and it is working perfectly. HYRDAMATIC transmission with over drive. REBUILT along with engine.
