This 1959 Chevrolet Corvette was refurbished and modified during prior ownership, with work including refinishing the exterior in black with white coves as well as installation of a fuel-injected 5.7-liter L98 V8 and a six-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes power steering, a dual exhaust system, staggered-width 15″ American racing wheels, updated suspension components, and four-wheel disc brakes.
The body was refinished in black with white coves during prior ownership according to the selling dealer. Features include a hood scoop, a left-side mirror, and chrome bumpers and trim.
Staggered-width 15″ American Racing wheels feature a polished finish and are fitted with BFGoodrich tires measuring 215/60 up front and 235/60 out back. Disc brakes are fitted at all four corners, and the vehicle is also equipped with power-assisted steering and updated suspension components.
Vinyl upholstery with channeled inserts covers the bucket seats and door panels.
Factory instrumentation includes a sweeping 160-mph speedometer along with a centrally oriented tachometer flanked by gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, battery charge, and oil pressure
The 5.7-liter L98 V8 was installed under prior ownership and features tuned port fuel injection, a chrome intake manifold, and finned valve covers accented with red recesses.
