Vehicle Description

Body: When I originally looking for a '36 I wanted a rust free example with only Henry Ford steel. I found that in this car and it showed once the body was blasted. The only steel that was replaced was the floor as someone at some point had neatly welded in a second floor pan over the original. Quite bizarre since the original floor had been patched, but was still very solid. The easiest and cleanest way to fix this was to cut it out. The body has not been sectioned or chopped in any way. Again, there are no fiberglass or new steel panels or fenders anywhere. Panel and door gaps are tight and straight. Paint is beautiful with no issues and is a PPG base-clear the same factory color as when I bought it. To my knowledge, this is the original color. Red pin striping on the body and wheels was masked and sprayed. Underside was sprayed with a heat reducer and sound deadener that was tinted the same color as the topside.

Chassis/Brakes/Suspension: Chassis is a 1935-1940 Heidt's boxed frame that was ordered with their Mustang II IFS, tubular control arms with coilovers, dropped front spindles, 4 piston Wilwood front power disc brakes, 2 piston Wilwood rears, 11" rotors on each corner, power rack & pinion steering and a 4-link, 9" rear with a Speedway Motors posi 3rd member. Frame and components were all powder coated.

Engine/Transmission/Exhaust: Ford Racing Boss 302 crate motor - 345 hp/310 ft. lbs. (M-6007-X302). 9.0:1 compression, B303 hydraulic roller cam, forged crank, forged pistons and connecting rods, X306 GT-40 cylinder heads. Concept One serpentine kit, Lokar throttle linkage, MSD ignition, FAST Single Plane EFI, Auto Rad aluminum radiator. Exhaust was made with custom long tube headers back to Dynomax super turbo mufflers. The entire exhaust system was ceramic coated. Transmission is a TCI StreetFighter 431200 Ford 4 speed AOD. This combo results in a nice cruiser that still has plenty of beans.

Interior: Interior is completely custom with Classic Instruments gauges, Ididit steering column, Polk audio stereo system with XM, Vintage Air and power windows. Trunk was upholstered to match and has the battery, kill switch and on-board charging system hidden behind a dummy panel. Top is cloth and custom with a glass rear window, not a kit.
